Having missed it last year for the first time in history, we are doubly ready for the 55th annual German-American Steuben Parade, which will take place this Saturday, September 15 at 11:30 a.m. between E. 67th St. and E. 86th St. along 5th Avenue.
Last Thursday, Mr. Lars Halter (General Chairman of the Steuben Parade) rang the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange, marking the beginning of our annual celebration.
Of all the parades in Manhattan, this one is not to be missed (trust us, we’ve learned our lesson). Join us as we boisterously caravan up 5th Ave.—in the wrong direction, for one day only—upon our timeless Ferris Bueller-themed float, with September rustling in the New York air.
If Twist and Shout, Danke Schoen, and beautiful women dancing in dirndls sounds like your kind of party, then we’ll count on seeing you there. Hint: afterward, check out Oktoberfest in Central Park, or mosey on over to our store on 86th and 2nd to purchase some goodies for an at-home afterparty.
